Facebook Offers for Pages

If you have lately noticed, there is a new addition for page managers called Facebook Offers. Here is a simple breakdown of what is entailed straight from Facebook. You may however read more if your questions are not answered here right on Facebook.

Offers are only available to Pages with at least 400 likes. At this time, it’s not possible to target offers only to people who like your Page. Anyone visiting your Page will be able to see your offer, unless you’ve targeted it to a specific country or language. The first time you try offers it’s free, but after that a budget is required. The amount you pay is based on how many people you want to reach.

Build and Manage:

When you’re creating your offer, pick one of the suggested budgets from the dropdown menu, or set a custom budget from the Ads Manager by checking the box next to Promote later using another Facebook Ad tool. You can’t edit an offer after you post it. Consider the copy, image and details of your offer carefully before posting it. Once someone claims your offer, they’ll receive an email with instructions for redeeming your offer. Depending on the type of offer you create, they may print this email and bring it to your business, show it your register on their phones or visit your website to try to redeem the promotion. Be prepared to honor offers you post.

You can also stop or delete your offer. People who claimed your offer before you stop it may still come to your business to redeem it and, and you should still grant the discount.

Offers images are 90 pixels wide and 90 pixels tall. For the best results, upload a square photo. Rectangular images will be cropped into a square, which may cut off key areas. Read more about offers design specifications and creating a successful offer.
