Last year Jobs had Apple positioning HTML5 as the new replacement for Adobe’s Flash. Since then the debate about the two has heated up with many developers backing either but rarely both. Flash based gaming developer Onemorelevel has developed the following infographic – already in itself causing some debate as to the apples to oranges comparison.
An interesting point I found online regarding iOS and Flash – which started the whole HTML5 debate – “iOS will go away before Flash. In the near future Flash will run in all the browsers running on real OS’s on mobile devices (OSX, UNIX and Windows). Perhaps this is why Adobe stopped wasting time trying to hack the Flash player for mobile?”
