Ping.fm has recently announced that they will be discontinuing service in mid-June 2012.
As you might have heard, we are about to close Ping.fm. We’ve built its successor, Seesmic Ping, which is more reliable, stable and robust, providing more features and focusing on the most popular services.
Because of that, Hootsuite announced that they will be removing Ping.fm (part of Hootsuite’s dashboard since 2008) integration from the dashboard on June 8, 2012.
This means that if you are using Ping.fm in HootSuite, your Ping.fm profile will stop working on June 8, including any auto-posting or scheduled posts. Please plan accordingly.
