Since loosing out to photo filter service Instagram, PicPlz is shutting down on July 3rd. Best you get your pics beforehand if you use it, Though I don’t know many that do.
PicPlz has posted the following on their website a picplz.com:
On July 3, 2012, picplz will shut down permanently and all photos and data will be deleted. We have provided download links for existing users to save their photos. Thank you for your support of picplz and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Login before July 3, 2012 to download your photos.
Maybe they should have courted Facebook earlier since Instagram was snapped up (no pun – ok a pun) for $1B by Facebook earlier this spring.
