From The Economist, the Big Mac tool assumes that the same product should be the same price in various markets. The came up with that one product being a Big Mac as it is a very widely distributed consumer product. Looking at Canada, it reflects our growing economy and dollar strength. Take a look at Austrailia as well. A similar graph.
The reason for including this is that I find this tool well designed and interactive but also it is not Flash. Five short years ago I would have said it had to be Flash. So is Flash on the way out?
