This USB Wallplug is a Household Peacemaker

USB Wallplug USB Wallplug 2ThinkGeek has an handy addition for my kitchen counter area. A wall plug with two USB conversion outlets for recharging devices. By including two USB ports in the wall plate next to the regular sockets I now do not have to keep unplugging the toaster and the coffee maker just to get my phone recharges with the adapter. Also gone will be the fights over who owns said adapter or more importantly – where it is at present and who had it last.

With more and more items being recharged in the USB manner, it will be a great investment in the long run. I now can charge two phones, or use a USB fan I got at an Adobe conference or just leave my Jawbone (more on that another day) USB charger there. Even my bike light which is LED is USB rechargable.

As ThinkGeek warns, you need to use your considerable brains to install these outlets. If you have never installed an outlet before, best you call someone who knows what they are doing.

All told it cost me $37.03 US which is probably about the same Canadian. This included the shipping on the low end so it should arrive by Valentines Day or maybe Easter.

I will post an article on the install and how it worked out once I receive it and put an update link here as well.
